What is a 2D, 3D, 4D and HD live Ultrasound?
- 2D is a 2-dimensional black and white flat image, traditionally used to create images of your baby’s development.
- 3D is a 3-dimensional image allowing you to see features and capture images of your baby’s development in greater.
- 4D takes 3D technology and adds motion allowing you to capture 4-dimension videos of your baby
- HD live also known as 5D adds lighting and shadowing allowing us to highlight certain features and capture truly amazing images of your little one. With this technology we can change the position of the light and more clearly see the baby’s lips, nose and eye lids.
When is the best time to come in for 3D, 4D and HD Live Ultrasound?
- 25-32 weeks is the optimum time to capture images of your growing and developing baby. However, each stage of development is unique and we will be happy to consult with you and discuss many exciting options.
How should I Prepare for my visit?
- Water, water, water! It’s important to start hydrating 1 - 2 weeks prior to your visit. Fluid around the baby allows for clear and more crisp images. Every pregnancy is different and you know your little one better than us... If there’s certain things in your diet or you have any tricks that are prone to get your baby bumping and jumping please DO IT! Haha :P
Can I Bring my Family and Friends?
Absolutely! We provide a safe, comfortable and clean environment for each session with you and your love ones in mind. We have spacious rooms and multiple viewing options available depending on the size of your group and comfort level.
Is the Price more for Twins or Multiples?
- There is an additional charge for multiple tiny humans :D. Prices vary depending on your package. Please call for additional information.
How early can you determine gender?
- Through Ultrasound we can normally determine gender as early as 15 weeks. However, we are excited and proud to have partnered with Sneak Peak DNA testing allowing you to determine your baby’s gender as early as 6 weeks
How do I pay and will Insurance cover this ultrasound?
- This is an elective ultrasound so insurance will not cover your session. However, we are happy to accept most forms of payment to include all Major Credit/Debit Cards, Venmo, PayPal and Cash.
Will my pictures be perfect?
- We are phenomenal at what we do and will work hard to capture the best images possible. However, there are certain factors that are beyond our control and may affect our ability to obtain quality images on any given day. Factors may include: the baby’s position, placenta location, amount of amniotic fluid around the baby’s face and maternal body habitus.
